• Motivate students with positive praise, take photos of them working, post on my Ms. Bird website, post students’ working and artwork on GES ART Facebook page, hang artwork in school, SAU office and Dover Library
  
• The little thing: hearing that all the students wanted to use clay. I didn’t have it in my budget so I applied for the Mini Grant. Now all the students can use clay, albeit air-dry clay, for at least one project per year for the next several years.
• Learn to draw books. Again, this is with the money the PTA gives to every teacher for the year. It isn’t a ton of money but I’m able to purchase special How to Learn Drawing books with these funds. I am well into my third year of teaching and I have complied quite a little library, which I will continue to add to every year.
